Pressure Printing – June 2014

Letterpress Intensive

Allison Milham • Pressure Printing
June 21 – 22 • Saturday and Sunday • 10AM – 5PM
Studio 209 • 209 W Remington Ave

In this two day workshop, students explored the possibilities of pressure printing on the Vandercook letterpress; working with low relief collage to create an edition of prints with texture and depth. This was a great opportunity get familiar with letterpress printing, while experimenting with alternative printing processes. Basic printing, ink mixing, make-ready and clean-up were covered. As a bonus, an optional post-intensive printing session was offered. Check out our Pressure Printing Pinterest Board.
