Presented in partnership with   Thomasville Center for the Arts, in partnership with KeySouth, will host an exhibition at Grassroots Coffee Co. during the months of July, August and September. Carly Berry is a freelance graphic designer + illustrator in Tallahassee, Florida. She graduated from FSU with a BA in Studio Art with a focus in Print Making. Screen Printing is her go-to medium and her work ranges from creepy to cute and everything in between. These classes are taught by TCA’s Artists In Residence and are designed to expose senior citizens to lessons in crafts, fine arts, and journaling. Learning (at any age) benefits the brain. ADULTS: Class Series | Beginner Wheel Throwing Pottery Class- Tuesdays

Artist Sarah Davis will instruct student on the proper use and care of the wheel. Students will learn the fundamentals of wheel throwing and will experiment with basic throwing techniques: centering clay, forming cylinders, bows, and cups with handles. Surface decoration, and glazing will also be covered. Classes will take place on Tuesdays, 5:30-7:30pm, from September 5th- October 17th.
