As an instructor, Ron starts where you are and moves on in teaching foundations of painting from there. Each class will feature a demonstration on a particular aspect of the painting process followed by individual work and one on one instruction. Embark on this exploration directed by your interests. Ron supports both the creative spirit and your artistic prowess of teaching art enthusiasts of all skill levels, so don’t shy away because of lack of experience!       Saturday, March 4, 2017 10am – 5pm Cost: $200 Adults $150 Students Location: Studio 209 209 W Remington Ave, Thomasville, Georgia Photographer: Billy Newman Take advantage of this one-day workshop with fine art photographer, Billy Newman! Many workshops introduce photographers to new subject matter and new techniques. In this workshop, students will learn about restricting the subject matter and techniques so that they can learn more about their own creative process and consequently discover new ways to see and shoot. The subject matter will be ice. Billy will make his set-up available for participants to shoot during the day. Self Supplied Items : Sack lunch, digital camera (preferably SLR type camera) and a means to get photos onto Billy’s laptop, or students can bring their own laptop. Finding History in Our Stories

February 4 & 25, March 4 & 11 , 2017, 10:00am – 12:00pm Join storyteller Saundra Kelley to seek out, record and tell Thomasville’s lesser-known historic past for today. Students will reach back into their own memories and family memories.
