Save the Date for DUE SOUTH 2018:
Friday & Saturday, April 20-21

Turnpike Troubadours | Cordovas | The New 76ers
City of Thomasville Amphitheater
DUE SOUTH weaves together the richness of sights, sounds and tastes of the South to create an engaging tapestry of artistic expression – enriching, inspiring and connecting us to our shared heritage. Attendees enjoyed food trucks, a Beer Garden and lots of other pre-concert experiences. Southlife Supply Co. hosted the “Made in Thomasville” awards for local artisans and announced winners at the concert. Tallahassee’s rising band the New 76ers, the event’s first act, took the stage first, followed by  Cordovas – four rock artists hailing from Nashville, Tennessee. Turnpike Troubadours, DUE SOUTH’s headliner band, closed out the night with a rocking show. With over sixty-eight thousand followers on Instagram, this band is headed to the top!

Rhythm & Roots: Songwriters in the Round
Hosted by Thomasville Entertainment Foundation
The Biscuit Company
Guests heard from some of the most prominent singer-songwriters of our region. From inspirations that sparked a song in Jo Smith and Brent Anderson, to musical influences Mark Nesler had as a young boy, and memories of the folks who challenged Brett Jones to push his craft to success. These four songwriters gave insight into the intimate relationship they have with their art and how it permeates the songs we hear on the radio.

Brew South
Sweet Grass Cheese Shop
Due South’s annual kick-off event, Brew South, invited the community of Thomasville to rally together and celebrate Due South weekend with a head start at Sweet Grass Cheese Shop.  Guests listened to live music while enjoying craft beer and a curated Brew South menu!
