DUE SOUTH weaves together the richness of sights, sounds and tastes of the South to create an engaging tapestry of artistic expression – enriching, inspiring and connecting us to our shared heritage.  It’s an experience not to be missed.

Attendees can enjoy food trucks, our Beer Garden and lots of other pre- concert experiences.  Southlife Supply Co. is hosting a Made in Thomasville Awards for local artisans and will announce the contest winner at DUE SOUTH.  At 5 p.m. Tallahassee’s rising band the New 76ers, the event’s first act, takes the stage.  Next up – Cordovas, four rock artists hailing from Nashville, Tennessee, will fill the amphitheater with their hit songs like “All I Found” and “Southern Rain”.  Turnpike Troubadours, DUE SOUTH’s headliner band, will be the evening’s finale performance. Musical influences like bluegrass, Cajun, folk, and rock fuse themselves into Turnpike Troubadours’ unique sound, and because of this the band is gaining increasing popularity in niche and mainstream music communities. With over sixty-eight thousand followers on Instagram, this band is headed to the top, so make sure to catch them in Thomasville before they blow up!

Rhythm & Roots: Songwriters in the Round
Hosted by Thomasville Entertainment Foundation

The Biscuit Company
7 – 9 p.m.
$65  |  Dinner Included  |  BYOB

Writing a song is like casting a message in a bottle out into the dark endless sea. When well-written, the message is received and passed on…

On Friday, April 21, hear from some of the most prominent message-casters of our region. From inspirations that sparked a song in Jo Smith, to musical influences Mark Nesler had as a young boy, and memories of the folks who challenged Brett Jones to push his craft to success. These three singer-songwriters will give insight into the intimate relationship they have with their art and how it permeates the songs we hear on the radio.

Grab your favorite bottle of liquid “let-loose” and meet us at The Biscuit Company for a relaxed night of music in the round. We’ll take care of dinner, so bring a big appetite for food, art and music. You’ll be sure to get your fill of all three. Seating is limited, so buy your tickets now!

$65 for a laid-back evening of Music, Food, and Art
